Sports Education
Physical activity is vital to the holistic development of young people, fostering their physical, social and emotional health. The benefits of sport reach beyond the impact on physical well-being and the value of the educational benefits of sport should not be under-estimated.
UNESCO, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation, the UN‘s lead agency for physical education
and sport, introduced the first landmark policy related to physical education in 1978. Titled, the International Charter
of Physical Education and Sport introduced by UNESCO in 1978, it declares that “every human being has a fundamental
right of access to physical education and sport, which are essential for the full development of his personality.“
Hence, we will provide online and offline contents on various sports for children to learn and play.
EDUCATION PROGRAMS
Peace education is an essential component of quality basic education. The program will define peace education as the process of promoting the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values needed to bring about behaviour changes that will enable children, youth and adults to prevent conflict and violence, both overt and structural; to resolve conflict peacefully; and to create the conditions conducive to peace, whether at an intrapersonal, interpersonal, intergroup, national or international level.
Peace education programmes have been developed in a number of UNICEF country offices and National Committees for UNICEF over the past decade. Ideas are continually evolving about how to use the full range of children‘s educational experiences to promote commitment to principles of peace and social justice.
Hence we can plan to implement education softwares for children as well as adults to take part in such UN Peace Programs.
